Key Facts
- the body has trillions of extremely small biological cells
- tissue is the aggregation of similarly specialised cells, which form such things as organs, bones, muscles, arteries, etc.
- each cell is a living entity that has its own unique state of health – a healthy cell:
- processes oxygen & nutrients in order to produce protein molecules and store energy
- purges toxins and waste products
- stores electrical energy as a negative charge/voltage (analogous to a capacitor or car/phone battery)
- unhealthy (malfunctioning) cells are not able to perform these functions as nature intended and contribute to the overall health issues such as pain, injury and chronic illness
- when new cells are produced, they generally follow a pattern established by like cells (whether they be malfunctioning or normal)
- hence the ultimate goal is to restore cells to a state where they function as nature intended
